The Longevity Desk is a research publication. Everything on this site and in the guides and newsletter is educational and informational material. None of it is medical advice, and none of it is a recommendation to take anything.

Not medical advice

This is general health information only and is not intended to be a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical doctor, who can provide treatment and support for your specific medical needs. The statements made in this article have not been evaluated by the FDA or any other medical authority.

Reading this site does not create a clinical relationship between you and this publication. Decisions about your health belong with a qualified clinician who knows your history, your medications, and your labs. Nothing here can substitute for that, and nothing here tries to.

About the compounds covered

Most of the compounds this site covers are not approved medicines. They are sold as “research compounds,” usually carrying a “not for human use” label, and nobody has verified that what is sold under those names works or is safe in the form being sold. Where an approved medicine does exist for a molecule, the vials sold on the grey market are not that medicine. Covering a compound here is not an endorsement of it, and for many of them the published record this site exists to report is a record of how little is actually known.

No protocols, no doses

Where this site prints a number under “what circulates,” it is reporting what people are observed to do, not what anybody should do. Those figures are recorded because they happen, and many of them trace to nothing more than vial arithmetic. They are not dosing guidance, they are not a protocol, and printing them next to the published record is the whole point: often the record does not support them.

Your responsibility

If you choose to use any substance discussed here, that choice and its consequences are yours, made against the laws that apply where you live. Individual responses vary widely, interactions with medications and conditions are real, and self-administering unapproved compounds carries risks that no amount of careful reading removes. Talk to a clinician first. In an emergency, contact emergency services, not a website.

Accuracy

Every figure here traces to a named source and every claim is checked against the paper it cites, but science moves and mistakes happen. Errors that are found get fixed and logged publicly on the corrections page rather than quietly edited. No warranty is made that any page remains current, and content is provided as-is. Report anything wrong to hello@thelongevitydesk.org.

Links and funding

The compound cards carry price-comparison links to a separate directory site run by this publication; those links are labelled where they appear and can earn a commission. How the site pays for itself is described in full on the about page. No vendor, and no payment, changes what gets printed.

Audience

This site is written for adults 21 and over, and it says so before you read it. It is not directed at anyone under that age.

The statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
